What We’re Looking For

We are currently accepting submissions in the following genres:

• Fiction

• Horror

• Romance

• Fantasy

• Sci-Fi

We are particularly interested in stories with strong characters, unique worlds, and compelling narratives. Whether you’re a debut author or an experienced writer, we’d love to hear from you!

Submission Guidelines

1. Manuscript Requirements:

   • Word Count: 50,000–150,000 words (exceptions may be made for exceptional works).

   • Format: Submit your manuscript as a .doc, .docx, or .pdf file.

   • Status: Your manuscript should be complete and unpublished.

2. Author Bio:

   • Include a brief author bio (100–200 words) in the body of your email.

3. Synopsis:

   • Provide a one-page synopsis of your book.

4. Query Letter:

   • Include a short query letter introducing yourself and your work.

5. Marketing Platform:

   • Let us know if you have an existing platform (e.g., social media, blog, newsletter) or any marketing ideas for your book.

How to Submit

Email your submission to submissions@pattersonquillpublishing.com with the subject line: SUBMISSION: [Book Title] by [Author Name].

In your email, include:

• Your manuscript as an attachment.

• A one-page synopsis.

• A brief author bio.

• A short query letter.

• Any relevant information about your marketing platform or plans.

What to Expect

• Response Time: We aim to respond to all submissions within 8–12 weeks. If you haven’t heard from us by then, feel free to follow up.

• Simultaneous Submissions: We accept simultaneous submissions but ask that you notify us immediately if your work is accepted elsewhere.

• Rights: By submitting your work, you confirm that it is your original creation and that you hold the rights to it.
