Meet the Author – Tiffani Joy Patterson

Tiffani Joy Patterson is a children’s book author, publisher, and creative dreamer who believes in the magic of storytelling—especially when it’s wrapped in joy, color, and curiosity. Her debut picture book, Ten Balloons, is a delightful counting adventure that combines early learning with silly surprises and big smiles.

Tiffani's love for storytelling began in childhood, where she filled journals with rhymes, doodles, and daydreams. As a writer, she’s passionate about creating books that not only teach but delight—offering young readers a sense of wonder, rhythm, and fun with every page turn.

In Ten Balloons, Tiffani invites children to count from one to ten through a series of playful, bounce-along balloon adventures. Whether floating through pies, past puppies, or into party hats, each balloon brings laughter and learning to life. The story encourages early numeracy, imagination, and active participation—making it a favorite for classrooms, storytimes, and snuggly bedtime reads.

In addition to writing, Tiffani is the founder of her own independent publishing imprint, where she is building a joyful space for other authors to share meaningful, imaginative books for young readers. Her mission is simple: to publish stories that help children feel seen, celebrated, and excited to read.

When she’s not writing or publishing, Tiffani enjoys cupcakes, confetti, cozy days with good books, and noticing little moments of magic in everyday life. She believes that every child deserves stories that make them giggle, wonder, and say, “Read it again!”
